Italy, 1921-23, The B.L.P. overprinted postal stationery issue. Pre-printed 25c postal stationery card with red B.L.P. overprint (Sassone No. 3; Michel Mi-B 90I), uprated with additional 15c Vittorio Emanuele III definitive adhesive (Michel No. 128). The card contains a full, intact advertising leaflet for "N.G.I." (Navigazione Generale Italiana). Very Fine condition.

Italian States, 1837 folded letter from Milan to Lodi
Folded letter dated 29 June 1837, sent from the administration offices of "Luigi Pii Uniti" hospital in Milan, bearing clear circular handstamp "OSPEDALE DI MILANO PII UNITI," addressed to the administration of the “Ospedale Maggiore” in Lodi. Fine example of early medical institutional correspondence within Lombardy under Austrian administration.

Italian States, Lombardy-Venetia, 1852 Folded letter from Milan to Trento, addressed to Sig. Antonio Pedrotto, bearing 45c light blue, Type II (Sassone No. 11, MiNr 5x, well-margined). Canceled with a single-circle “Milano 3 Mar” postmark. Sender identified by oval handstamp “ALESSANDRO CIMBARD MILANO” on front. Signed Expe. Catalog value for stamp on cover €400.

ITALIAN STATES – TUSCANY, 1851. Folded letter from Borgo S. Lorenzo, franked with 2 crazie blue-green on grey paper (Sassone 5f), tied by a light cancel. The stamp shows strong color and full to good margins, and both the adhesive and cancellation are, in our opinion, genuine. A fresh and appealing example of this early issue. Signed and accompanied by Raybaudi certificate. (Sass. €600) estimate €200-300.
