Hanover, 1860 , folded letter from Achim to destination via Lilienthal, bearing large manuscript red “2½” (silbergroschen) rate with distinctive right curly bracket, denoting postage due under the 1858 Hanover inland rate for over-20-mile distance plus surcharge. Clear blue ACHIM circular datestamp, matching black LILIENTHAL c.d.s. (23/11), red “680 a. Silienthal” account marking, and intact red wax seal on reverse.
Based on recent auction results for comparable Hanover stampless covers with manuscript rates and transit markings, market value is expected in the $200–$500 range.

Prussian Silesia, 1834 – Official Cover from the Royal Bailiwick Court, Koźle (Cosel)
Manuscript rate “6 ¼” in red by hand, indicating postage due on this pre-stamp letter—consistent with Prussian/Silesian inland rates for multi-district mail. Marked with docket number N° 44 927, from or to Racibórz (Rosenberg), mailing date 29/11 1834, and carried by the Royal Magistrate’s Court at Koźle (Cosel). Includes archival number 3008‑2 and undeciphered “Ux” marking. Rare example of a legal-administrative pre-philatelic cover from Silesia.

Germany – 1934 Fleurop Exhibition Commemorative Cover to Switzerland – Franked with Deutsches Reich stamps and “Silbete Express,” with diagonal “Fleurop-Auftrag!” marking. Multiple postmarks including Stuttgart and Fleurop, red routing annotations. Reverse with Fleurop exhibition label, Basel 21.IX.34 postmark, customs opened (“zollamtlich geöffnet”), and additional flower delivery stamp.
