Reverse bears a sharp mayoral cachet depicting three Fleur-de-Lis, matching the 1782 engraved town hall stationery seal.

The letter’s handwritten content is an official police or judicial report relating to an incident in the Canton of Noyant involving the flight and pursuit of armed individuals, with references to injuries and detainment. Addressed to the deputy prosecutor of Bauge, the text shows some deterioration and illegibility consistent with its age.
