Picture postcard featuring potted lily artwork by Li Qun, franked with Chinese adhesives and tied by JUL 1957 Wuhan industrial and commemorative cancels incl. "Wuhan No. 1 Blast Furnace" and "Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge." Addressed to West Germany ("Geschw. Gentikoudt"), sent by "Kerber, Kleinonhallen Bz. Magdeburg." Attractive thematic and postal history item.
1957 30th anniv: people's liberation SC#402-4 MiNr. 337-340 mint o.g. €120
1967 "Thoughts of Mao Tse-tung" (1st issue), mint never hinged set of 11 stamps, with 8y Mao, 8y se-tenant strip of five with red frame and strip of five with gold frame. Very fine and fresh condition. Catalogue references: Mi. 966–976; S.G. 2343–2353; €6,000.
