Palestine – Postal Stationery Card, Bale/Dorfman #SPC3
Brownish purple, size 120 x 75 mm, Hebrew and English only, printed SPECIMEN. Bale/Dorfman catalogues classify SPC-3 cards as specimen only, with no record of postal use or official circulation, implying they were never issued.
1918 'E.E.F.' 5m/1pi ultramarine (SG 4) corner number block of 4, Transfer B with control number D 18 C . This excellent specimen is in control number blocks with original gum, MNH. SG £350. Estimate $100 - 180
British Mandate Palestine 1918, 1 Pi blue (SG 19), used on a cut-out dated 20 February 1918.

Postal History
Lot of two covers. (1) Airmail dated August 22, 1943, probably during World War II, with the stamping of (Czechoslovak Field). The letter is addressed to Dr. Nachum Lachowitz in Jerusalem, at 20 Mea Shearim Street. Palestine.
(2) Old envelope with a Czechoslovak postmark and handwritten text. The letter was probably sent during or after World War II. The letter was sent on May 6, 1943. It was sent by a person named "KETISLAV ZE ZUZVORKA \ growled Czechoslovak forces in England.
One of the stamps indicates ARMY ISKA POLNIA POSTE Military Field Post.
The letter was sent to a military unit of the US Army.
