Israel 1948, Doar Ivri – 3m & 5m with Tabs, Specialized Selection on Presentation Pages
Outstanding selection mounted on three exhibition presentation pages, each variety accompanied by typed explanatory notes. The collection presents a wide range of 3m and 5m Doar Ivri tab stamps by printing date, showing the key production differences in paper types (thin yellow, thin white, medium white, transparent), perforations, roulettes, tab settings and control blocks. Notable pieces include the 3m “bean” variety (approx. 600 recorded) and scarce 5m tab setting “H” control blocks.
A carefully arranged and informative group, ideal for the specialist studying the early printings of Israel’s first issue. Attractive and well-documented, with a total catalog value of approx. $500
