With reference to Mr. Horgenstern's letter of the 1st inst. I regret I am unable to comply with your request. As you are aware, I am speaking in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and after that, I shall have to leave for Paris and Rome. I do not see, therefore, how I can commit myself to speaking at another public meeting in London, as my movements are quite indefinite. Cowen is prepared to speak. With Zion's greetings,
