NF 1913 Palestine Scenes Series III Complete Sheet
Complete sheet of 12 different stamps, issued by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in 1913. The stamps are arranged in a 3 × 4 format, each depicting a distinct scenic view of Palestine, with the title printed beneath each vignette.
The left-hand column of stamps is presented in a vertical format. Inscriptions at the bottom of the stamps match those of Series II, except the second inscription is omitted on the stamps in the lower right-hand block of four.
This series features two color combinations. The stamps Ge73 to Ge84 display ocher pictures with a black and blue border.
All stamps retain original gum with typical tropical gum spotting. A very scarce and visually appealing complete sheet from an early and significant JNF issue.
