1914 USA registered cover, a 1c imprinted envelope (stationery), supplemented with additional stamps to meet the required international postage to Germany. The cover is franked with a 4c Washington imperforate block of four (Scott 346; Mi. No. 166B) in brown, and a 1c green (Scott 343; Mi. No. 162B). All stamps are tied with the registered postmark departure Philadelphia April 30 CDS on the reverse, along with the Memmingen, Bayern, Germany arrival CDS May 5.
